Vacation Prep Continues

Had quite the adventure this weekend at the Potomac Mills Outlet Mall and IKEA. It was literally an all day, all night affair, but lots of shopping tasks were accomplished in preparation for my Costa Rica trip at the end of the month. 

Acquired lots of neon-inspired clothing from Forever21, Old Navy, and Gap, including shorts, tees, an awesome pair of purple jeans, a button down shirt, and a necklace too!

Scored a similar pair of Nanette Lepore white pants for about $50 that are perfect for the office.

By far, one of my favorite purchases was this LeSportsac bag, which I am already actively using. It’s my new gym/beach bag.

The day ended with an IKEA trip. I know, that’s normally a whole day just on its own, but we managed to buy a new coffee table and liquor cabinet (both long sought after and greatly needed) in a short time.

Overall, bigeest accomplishments of the day were 1) buying ONLY items I actually needed vs. wanted 2) NOT buying anything in black!

Now all I need to work on are some new sandals. Easier said than done.
